If I’m told that I will need to use a programme at some point in the future and I am unfamiliar with that programme I will try to get my hands on the programme as soon as possible so I can get familiar with it.
Interests
Football, American Football (NFL), Darts, Golf, MMA (UFC), Boxing; web design, art, video editing and reporting.
Experience
I worked in a busy village cafe for a year in 2009. At the cafe I learnt how to keep cool in a pressured environment. I really enjoyed getting to interact with the customers.
I spent a little bit of time at Middlesbrough FC’s fanzine FMTTM (Fly Me to the Moon). Here I was given a task to write an article for the fanzine.
During my time at Middlesbrough College I was given various assignments that required me to work in a production team. Personally, I think I did well in these assignments; I felt like I contributed to the group.
Work online
Over the years I have formed friendships on Twitter with various sports journalists.
Darren Lewis from the Daily Mirror sent me an email asking me if I wanted to get involved with his daily transfer show ‘Football Spy’. That video can be seen below.
Since then I have been asked to get involved in all kinds of projects, such as:
- Work on the Youtube channel Full Time Devils
- Work on Goal’s Manchester United Youtube channel
- Write for various different blogs
Today, I write for ManUnitedTalk.
