I began writing articles in 2009.

In my first year at Middlesbrough College my teacher instructed the class to create a website based on a topic of our choice; I decided that mine would be based on all things Manchester United.

I really enjoyed designing my site. I enjoyed it so much that I decided I was going to keep updating the site after the assignment had finished.

To my amazement the site became very popular. I noticed the traffic was going up on average 25% every month. Most of the articles I had written would be read by thousands of people from the UK to Australia.

Unfortunately, I had to close the site down because, put simply, I just didn’t have the time.

I made YouTube videos that were based on all things Manchester United. The channel was called ‘UnitedInNews’. It didn’t take long before my match reviews became popular. Thousands of people subscribed to the channel, and nearly 2 million people watched the videos that I uploaded.

In 2009 I opened a Manchester United news Twitter account. That also became popular.

I see the media industry as limitless. The amount of routes to take is endless.
